I had an eye for beautiful things for as long as I can remember. Be it breathtaking sceneries, flowers, or just foods. I guess I could share the exact modes I chose to capture my surroundings when I was just a kid. My dad had bought a Samsung D720 which could take 1.3 mp photos on approximately 18 MB of memory. Curious me got so excited I wanted to photograph everything my eyes would find attractive or nearly charming. Then came those pocket-sized digital cameras, oh boy those days and that excitement of taking photos and importing those million-dollar shots via USB cables! Cannot fathom how hard it was for food photographers back in the days.

Fast forward to 2019, my dearest husband got me a Canon 6D mark ii and there was no looking back. I kept taking photos and kept growing my knowledge on how lights were an utmost necessity for any breathtakingly amazing shots, how shutter speed could define your pictures, and how apertures could make and break your dream shots. I have always loved food and cooking for my loved ones. Hence, my interest and passion came together and made for a pretty good bang for the buck. I started shooting whatever I would cook, wherever I would dine, or whatever my husband would graciously bring to the table. My journey to Food Photography has been nothing but joyous.

And now my focus is to be of assistance to the many food vendors in the bay area who are struggling to reach customers during COVID-19. I hope to bring their foods to the knowledge of hungry eaters of the bay area through my lens.

Was lucky enough to try out Trader Joe’s Roasted Garlic sauce for my spicy wings. They don’t carry it anymore now, I guess they should bring it back again on the shelves for my Food Product Photography to thrive while making various delicious versions of wings.
